Age Concern Fuengirola, Mijas and Benalmadena have been providing advice,help, support and friendship for the past 6 years The current pandemic has been our biggest challenge so far. By working with Town Halls and the Red Cross we have been sourcing van loads of food and other supplies for local food banks and those who have fallen through the cracks in society. Pictured below a further delivery to Adintre, helping the most needy in Fuengirola.
When asked to comment we said at the time “Many families are in real difficulty at this time. We all live in the communities we serve. These are our neighbours and many have lost their jobs and income. By working with our partners we can make a real difference to the greatest number of people” And with everybody’s help – we have.
After 3 months of closure our Charity shop in Los Boliches re-opens on Monday June 22nd and everyone is looking forward to getting back to work. We know from the number of customers who have stopped us in the street that we can expect a warm welcome and are looking forward to seeing you all again
We only sell Quality goods at Low prices and with this in mind welcome all donations of clean, quality clothing and assorted bric a brac at the shop during opening hours. Please do not leave bags outside as the police have a habit of removing them
