It all started with a group of like-minded people who understood that there was a pressing need to create an organisation that would provide advice, help, support and most importantly friendship to the over 50’s English speaking community. Residents or visitors are all welcome.

Why are we so different from others? It is possibly because we are very much a hands-on organisation. We get involved, and we get results. We offer weekly social gatherings, monthly lunch clubs, regular outings and events throughout the year.

We can help with taking clients to a hospital, or doctors appointments, or home visits. An occasional shopping trip, or transporting those with limited mobility to one of our weekly drop- in centres.
One of our hard working Volunteers will be on hand to help. We are much more than a charity, we are your helping hand, because this is our ethos. We warmly invite everyone to come along to one of our weekly drop- in centres in Fuengirola, Mijas and La Cala.

Age Concern Fuengirola y Mijas was formed, and it’s constitution accepted and registered by the Registro de de Asociaciones de Andalucia in September 2014. Registered charity no. 11343 - C.I.F. G93364305

All volunteers are unpaid and give their time freely. We receive no funding from local or central government. We rely totally on donations and fundraising activities. We work closely with AGE in SPAIN
