Knit and Knatter Support Age Concern with donation of 100 poppies

The charity extends its sincere thanks to the Benalmádena Knit and Knatter Group for their donation of 100 hand-knitted red poppies. These were sold at the Drop-In Clubs, with all proceeds supporting our ongoing work.

These hand-knitted poppies were donated to commemorate Remembrance Day, and they were worn with pride by our members as a symbol of respect and remembrance.

The Benalmadena Knit and Knatter group offer more than crafting — they bring people together, help reduce social isolation, and provide a friendly social environment whilst also having the  purposeful benefits of working with your hands.

We look forward to the Christmas contributions, and we hope that in the New Year we can bring activities like this into our new Community Hub. Exciting things are ahead — watch this space!
