Another Successful Gala Dinner

Age Concern Fuengirola, Mijas & Benalmádena would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of its third annual Gala Dinner.
The event, held at The Green Label on 31st October, featured a Masquerade Halloween theme and brought together supporters, volunteers, and friends of the charity for an evening of fun and fundraising.
A lively auction, expertly conducted by Alan Boardman, along with a raffle and a “1 to 100” card game, helped raise over €2,500. These funds will go towards the installation of defibrillators and emergency first aid training within the community.
The charity also recognised the British Society for their generous financial contributions earlier in the year, as well as the invaluable efforts of the many volunteers who give their time to support Age Concern’s work.
Special thanks go to the evening’s main sponsors, McGrath Estate Agents and Motorbox Mijas, and to the entertainers Tony Whitehouse and Liam Gray, who kept guests dancing throughout the night.
Age Concern Fuengirola, Mijas & Benalmádena looks forward to hosting more community events in the near future to continue supporting local residents in need.
