Fundraising Walk Alzheimer’s Dementia Support Group Mijas Costa

Age Concern Fuengirola, Mijas & Benalmádena is a community charity and we like to support the fantastic work of other charities and associations along the coast whenever we can. Alzheimer’s & Dementia is a particular priority and close to the heart of our charity secretary.

Michelle along with charity volunteers Sonia & Aleshia were accompanied by family and friends today and took part in the Memory Walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Dementia Support Group Mijas Costa.

Their little group sponsored by One for the Road Golf Society raised 340 euros towards the memory walk. A fantastic morning was had by all and we look forward to hearing the final amount raised for this great cause and would like to thank the Alzheimer’s Dementia Support Group for allowing us to take part in the event and for the amazing work they do.

Age Concern Fuengirola, Mijas & Benalmadena are currently working on a programme of Alzheimer’s & Dementia support that will launch early 2024 with a fundraising golf day to be held in April to support this priority area.
