Age Concern Fuengirola Mijas Benalmádena Relaunches It’s Drop-In Club in Mijas Pueblo
Age Concern Fuengirola Mijas Benalmádena proudly relaunched its Drop-In Club in Mijas Pueblo today. The event was attended by volunteers, members of the local community, representatives from the Mijas Town Hall Foreigners Department, and local TV.
The Drop-In Club will now run on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, with the next session taking place on 18th November, from 12:00 to 14:00 at Bodeguita El Tejo.
The aim of the Drop-In sessions is to help prevent social isolation among those living alone by offering a warm and welcoming environment to meet others. Visitors can enjoy friendly conversation, take part in light activities such as quizzes, and receive advice and support from Age Concern’s welfare volunteers. There will also be occasional presentations on topical issues relevant to the community.
Refreshments and snacks for today’s launch were kindly sponsored by Bodeguita El Tejo and Avalon, and Age Concern would like to extend sincere thanks to both for their generous contributions
