After a 2 year moratorium on events due to the pandemic Age Concern came storming back with our first Carol Frost Memorial Fashion Show in partnership with Fibbers Irish bar, Torreblanca on May 25th
Tickets sold out within days following release and such was the interest we had to make additional space for eager guests
The Charity has a well deserved reputation for selling quality clothing at Low prices and with the current economic crisis what better way of bringing the clothes to the community than a Fashion Show
It was fun and fabulous with volunteers from the Charity taking to the catwalk with collections spanning from beach outfits to formal evening wear with a few surprise guests and outfits along the way
These included “Glamorous Brides and Groom” Junior Flamenco dancers and even an appearance from the “Spice Girls”. The varied and professional show ensured that all guests enjoyed a few laughs along the way
All patrons enjoyed a complimentary drink and ploughman´s lunch included in their 12 euro ticket as well as the opportunity to purchase catwalk clothing through an auction. There was also the plenty of time to browse the rails and grab a bargain
The Event raised over 800 euros and Age Concern extend our heartfelt thanks to our amazing volunteers and everyone who supported us.
Looking forward we plan to hold another Fashion Show in the Autumn and again throughout 2023
